We are big fans of Eslington Villa in Low Fell, Gateshead and so were really excited when Helen and Mark booked us as the photographers for their wedding there.
Their lovely wedding day began at the very picturesque St Thomas Church in Eighton Banks. There’s a gorgeous country feel to this church and the beautiful weather just added to the setting.
After the guests had arrived and moved into the church, Helen and her dad arrived.
The bridesmaids and vicar watching Helen’s arrival.
A lovely ceremony followed in the pretty church.
I love the look of pure joy on Helen’s face in this shot.
Outside the church, Helen’s guide troop had lined up to salute their exit from the church.
After hugs and congratulations in the church grounds, the newlyweds headed off to Eslington Villa in Low Fell in their gorgeous vintage car.
There was a real garden party feel to the drinks reception held outside in the sunshine in the lovely hotel grounds.
Some of the great lawn games.
We captured some group photographs of key wedding guests, including these shots of Helen with her bridesmaids and Mark with the boys.
Then we went for a little walk round the hotel grounds with just Helen and Mark.
Back inside Eslington Villa, the dining room and adjoining conservatory had been set beautifully for the wedding breakfast.
After the newlyweds had entered the dining room to cheers from their guests, a great set of speeches followed.
Helen and Mark’s wedding was truly lovely and it was a real pleasure to capture it for them.
